Beading For A Cure 2012

Beading For A Cure was founded in 2002 in memory of a woman I did not have the pleasure of knowing.
"Layne's Legacy is named for Layne Shilling, a friend to the founders of BFAC, who lost her battle with colorectal cancer. Her memory lives on in our hearts and our beadwork.".
Each year a kit is put together, which the proceeds from go to the cause. Once participants receive their kit, they have a deadline to comply with to create pieces that showcase their vision.
I choose to add a titanium coated druzy cab, a Peacock Swarovski rivoli and a Sahara Swarovski square ring.
The photo shows my progress thus far.
